Clip Planes¶

General Warning about Clip Planes¶

Most drivers do a very poor job of implementing clip planes. Furthermore, the way that clip planes combine with shaders can be unpredictable. The use of clip planes is not recommended. It is possible to emulate clip planes in a shader using the discard instruction.
